Finance and Administration Delegate

Finnish Red Cross is searching for Finance and Administration Delegate for Harare, Zimbabwe. The assignment is for 12 Months, starting latest 31.3.2020.

The Finance and Administration Delegate (FAD) will work with the Finnish Red Cross (FRC) programme/project delegates and the National Society (NS) counterparts, enhancing the accountability and transparency of FRC’s projects in the country. The FAD will provide operational services and guidance for accurate and timely financial management, planning and reporting as well as risk management in programmes/ projects supported by FRC. Additionally, the FAD will support other delegates in financial management and will provide finance development and capacity building support to NS’s in the country as well as FRC Headquarters.

The Finnish Red Cross delegation in Zimbabwe currently manages FRC’s biggest country operation globally. In partnership with the Zimbabwe Red Cross Society, and other Movement partners, FRC supports emergency response operations (food assistance), disaster preparedness initiatives, as well as longer-term community resilience interventions. It is expected that current level of programming remains at the same level until mid-2020. FRC also actively supports the Zimbabwe Red Cross Society in improving financial management systems and building the capacity of its staff.
