Country Delegate to Burundi

Finnish Red Cross is searching for Country Delegate to Burundi for 12 months mission. Latest start date for the mission is 1st November.

Purpose of the Country Delegate is to act as a technical adviser to and provide programme support and ensure overall oversight of the Finnish Red Cross (FRC) supported projects, programmes and operations in Burundi, particularly the European Union Directorate-General for International Cooperation and Development (DG DEVCO) funded project “Tubehoneza - Appui au développement rural et nutritionnel au sud-est du Burundi”. FRC is a member of Spanish Red Cross led consortium, responsible for implementing nutrition and social cohesion components of the project.

The Country Delegate is also responsible for support to Ministry for Foreign Affairs (MFA) funded “Community Based Health and Safe Households in Muyinga” development project and will contribute to National Society Development (NSD) work as part of FRC country programme to Burundi in coordination with other Movement partners.
