MSF (Lääkärit Ilman Rajoja) is looking for a temporary Project Manager to develop and set-up the new MSF website for Finland. We are looking for someone who knows the world of project management and website development, and can be a link between the MSF Helsinki team, the suppliers and build on what MSF does worldwide.  MSF is a leading medical humanitarian organization and now is the chance to be part of building our public brand in Finland.

This temporary position is for 6 months with overall project responsibility. Ideally MSF looks for someone who can do this fulltime for 6 months and be working at the MSF Helsinki office. The Position

The position for the website project, building the new MSF Helsinki office website. The work will be done together with the Helsinki Communications and Fundraising teams and with input with MSF Stockholm digital team. The main responsibility will be to develop and set up the website for MSF Finland, ensuring user friendliness, technical and legal aspects as well as integration with other platforms such as the fundraising database (CRM). The MSF Finland website will be based on Drupal 8 aligned with MSF Sweden and other MSF entities and adapted to the needs and requirements in Finland.

Project Manager's key responsibilities

  • Leading the development and implementation of the Finnish website project, together with Communications Manager, the Digital Communications Officer and the web agency.
  • Responsible for finalising the project plan for website
  • Responsible for the procurement of a web agency and hosting services.
  • Responsible for implementing and setting up logical and efficient functionalities on the website in consultation with online strategist (and/or the website responsible in the Stockholm office).
  • Collaborate with Fundraising Manager in order to coordinate technical development between website and the CRM system and for website compatibility with the CRM system.
  • Main contact towards the web agency.
  • Responsible for the follow-up and reporting web development budget.
  • Responsible for technical support related to functionalities on the website and implementing user experience tests on the website.
  • Responsible for planning resources and maintenance after the set-up project of 6 months.

What we expect from you:

  • Degree in project management, website development or equivalent
  • Minimum of 1-year work experience within relevant field such as web development and/or project management
  • Basic knowledge of coding in web development
  • Knowledge of MS Office
  • Fluency in Finnish, Good working language in English

If you additionally have any of the following it will be valuable:

  • Experience from working in Drupal (preferred)
  • Experience of online fundraising or online commerce, including CRM integration
  • Experience from an international aid organization
  • Experience of user experience testing.
  • Good working knowledge of Swedish

Conditions of employment:

Employment type: Temporary position with three (3) months' probation

Work hours: 38 hours' work week (100%)

Salary: 3033 euro/month, according to MSF FI Salary Policy level 5

Vacation: As per MSF FI HR policy

Location: Based in Helsinki with occasional travels
