Regional Health Advisor

Finnish Red Cross is looking for a Regional Health Advisor (bilateral) to Africa region.

The delegate will be based in Nairobi, Kenya with frequent travels throughout Africa. The duration of the mission is 24 months with a possible extension. Start date is negotiable.

The Regional Health Advisor will contribute to and support efficient, effective and quality project implementation of health aspects in FRC supported bilateral projects in the Africa region and multilateral health project in Somalia. This will be done through regular follow-up, monitoring, facilitation and capacity building. S/he will give advisory support and participate in the planning and monitoring of the FRC’s projects in the region, based on need and request. S/he will support overall development of FRC health programming in region including planning and proposals for new projects.
