About the Role

ARTISTS at RISK (AR) is looking for a committed and positive individual to join our team, with a focus on attention to detail and independent thinking. Fluency in English is a must.

With strong experience in grant management, financial administration and project reporting (both financial and narrative) you will be equally competent working independently and collaboratively, with the ability to perform well under pressure and with tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment. You will be interested in contributing to building and developing our expanding institution while broadening your own horizons. Financial administration and accounting are a key part of your responsibilities.

Duties for the Grants Manager will include overall management of existing grants including allocations from the EU, budget writing, documenting payments and expenditure, overseeing fund-raising as part of long term preparations, and preparing and submitting reports. Experience with relevant software tools is required.

Optimal competence in numeracy and the ability to write clean, accurate copy in English are crucial. A keen eye for detail is a must.

Experience in the fields of the arts and human rights are an advantage. Extra languages are a plus as well as the ability to work across several funding, taxation and legal jurisdictions.

Training will start at the soonest possible date.

Location: Online. Stable internet required. Shared AR/PM office facilities are in Lapinlahti, Helsinki.
