Finnish Global Education Solutions (FGES) offers versatile pre-K to Grade 12 education services. Our aim is to create schools where both students and staff are motivated and inspired to learn.

FGES has multiple projects starting in the Asia and North Africa. We are working with existing schools and establishing brand new schools with our partners. With the existing schools, the goal is to make a transformation into Finnish-style schools with Finnish pedagogy, learning environments and management. This is always a collaborative effort with local stakeholders. With brand new schools, the process starts from scratch. Our focus is always on creating a school culture where high learning outcomes meet with students’ overall wellbeing and joy of learning, and staff’s wellbeing and professional development is valued and supported. The schools will set new standards in the countries’ K12 education sector.

We are looking for innovative and internationally minded ECE and primary years teachers for a variety of roles in these projects, including concept development, material development and onsite/online training and coaching.

Skills and profile we are looking for

• Motivated and committed professionals with 5+ years of experience in their own field in Finnish education system (ECE, primary years)
• Candidate holds minimum a bachelor’s degree in ECE or minimum a master’s degree in education
• Growth mindset
• Ability to innovate and create out-of-the-box solutions
• Dedicated team players who are able to set the common goals ahead of own objectives and who are able to interact and communicate in a multicultural, English-speaking environment
• Flexibility and adaptability in changing situations
• Fluent proficiency in Finnish and English, other language skills are a bonus
• International experience in teaching and/or teaching in a multicultural classroom is an asset
• Ability to travel regularly
