Open seminar – Register here: https://felm.org/register-for-a-seminar/
The objective of the seminar is to gain a profound understanding of the roles, possibilities and limitations of churches in conflicts and peacebuilding. The integral nature of the church in the society opens possibilities but also sets limits. In this seminar we are looking at the examples from Zimbabwe, Uganda, Colombia and Palestine. The speakers of the seminar are researches, church leaders and members who have participated in national peace processes. The seminar introduces different views and perspectives, as well as practical examples, theory and critique on the issue of churches in peace building. This seminar is organized by Felm (Suomen Lähetysseura) and the Church in Helsinki. The event is part of the Helsinki Peace Talks organised by Felm in collaboration with various partners.
