Ovi Magazine

Ovi Magazine (www.ovimagazine.com) is the only daily multi-lingual online magazine based in Finland. Its editors, a Greek and an Englishman, created this magazine from the frustrations of the world in which they live. The name ‘ovi’ means ‘door’ in the Finnish language and that is what is offered to the readers in a variety of subjects. Every day there are articles, photos, poems, cartoons and more about global issues, such as discrimination, inequality, poverty, human rights and society. In a unique position of being immigrants in Finland, they have a firsthand perspective of the problems and difficulties facing immigrants across the world. Their daily magazine aims to unite the foreigners of Finland and generate discussion, which it is managing to do with your help.
